Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
This policy explains what SmashSERP ("we", "us") collects, why, and how we handle it. It applies to smashserp.online and the SmashSERP application. It is written to be readable rather than exhaustive. If you have a question it does not answer, contact us.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email and authentication details when you create an account.
- Site connections. The website URLs and credentials you provide to connect and publish, such as a WordPress application password. These are stored to operate the publishing feature you asked for.
- Content and inputs. The keywords, topics, and settings you enter, and the articles, audits, and reports the platform generates for you.
- Connected analytics. If you choose to link Google Search Console, we access the search performance data needed to build your reports. This is optional and you can disconnect it at any time.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Usage data. Standard technical logs, such as pages loaded and features used, to keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use information
- To provide the service: research, content generation, publishing, tracking, and reporting.
- To operate your account, process your subscription, and provide support.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
- To send service messages, such as your reports and account notices.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers we rely on
SmashSERP runs on trusted third parties that process data on our behalf to deliver features you use:
- Supabase for authentication and database hosting.
- Anthropic to generate briefs, articles, and reports from your inputs.
- DataForSEO to fetch live search results and SEO data.
- Google (Search Console) when you connect it, for your search performance data.
- PayPal for subscription billing.
- Email and hosting providers to deliver reports and run the application.
Each provider processes only what is needed for its function.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the app. We do not use them to sell your data. You can control cookies in your browser, though disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
Data retention
We keep your account data and the content you generate for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our active systems, subject to any records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to what is necessary.
Your rights
You can access and export the content you generate, and you can request correction or deletion of your personal data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise any of these, get in touch.
Children
SmashSERP is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
